From my previous research, I could find no place that compares to UPSB in Balisong... I could find tutorials and whatnot, but no really central forum.
Any ideas? -

Take a vacation in Batangas, Philippines. The forum there is made up of everyone you see on the street. Just kidding. Hmm maybe you could try some FMA (Filipino Martial Arts) online communities, then go to the weapons/blades area, or just ask around.

Yes. The term balisong is Filipino but there might be similar knives in other asian countries. I actually did not know it was quite popular outside of the Philippines. Most of the time it is associated with violence here in the country. -

I think you can have training knives. The ones with a dull blade. If you're going to do tricks, then a training knife is probably much better, you might cut yourself with a live blade.
