What is a good pen mod for spinning supplies available in the US?

    Simple Supertip mod:

    1. Buy some Crayola Supertip markers.
    2. Cut 2 caps to half the length (or slightly longer, whatever feels good to you)
    3. Double-cap a marker
    4. Add some grips to the caps, stuff a bit inside the caps as well.
SubParSpinner told me about these markers before I had a Comssa mod, they make a great mod. The weight is balanced, it's not too light or heavy, it's easy to make. The soft plastic of the barrel means that the mod will not be as slippery as a harder plastic (RSVP, HGG, etc...) mod.

I would make a substitute Rsvp mx mod.

    The things you need are
    - Pentel rsvp
-roseart questgrip/anyball grip/g2 grip (basically any grip that you like)
    -uni-ball singo tip

And you would just take all three pens and assemble them just like an Rsvp mx

Edit: You can find all three pens in walmart or staples.

    -Hope this helps

What would the Signo be for? The RSVP uses the RSVP barrel, cap, grip, and usually the HGG grip (which would be replaced with your other suggested grip). Just don't get what the Signo would be for.

    The metal tip.

In case you were wondering why the metal tip was from the signo, it's because:

    1. HGGs for the generic MX are pretty hard to get now (that's why people suggested alternative grips

    2. Signo tips fit well at the tip of an RSVP

    3. Signo tips weigh more than a HGG tip, so it actually makes the pen more balanced

The mod I used for about a year when I was just getting started spinning requires two pens:

The RSVP is available all over the U.S. and the Uni-Ball Lakubo can be pretty easily acquired online (I got mine from cultpens).

Once you have one of each:

    1. Take the cap off the Lakubo (you won't need it).
    2. Put the RSVP grip on the back of the lakubo.
    3. Put the RSVP cap on the back of the lakubo.

That mod consists of two pens and takes about 20 seconds to make. It requires no tools and no modding experience. It is also completely reversible. Lakubo ink is very viscous, so you don't get much on your hands spinning (unlike a G3 mods, where reversing ink is a must). It may dry up if you spin too much, so if you plan to bring it to class, just bring another pen as well.

Pros: _Very_ easy and fast to make. _Very_ cheap. Balanced. Writable.
Cons: Sort of long. Must order a Lakubo online. If you spin obsessively, it will stop writing.

This is the pen I learned to spin with. It was great when I was learning.

A third vote for a Bictory mod. You can make them in less than 5 minutes, you can spin them with or without metal tips depending on your preference. They are balanced very well which helps if you're new to penspinning and they can write in 2 colours. And they are ridiculously cheap to make.

Lol the Roseart double ended are really good no moding required unless you want to put some tips and grips XP

Ohhhhh Another suggestion: Double capped RSVP.

Just double cap a normal RSVP with/out the clips.... You can still write with it

It's a good beginner pen, it was my first pen lol.

    Kinda ugly though.

If not, make a bictory, but this is heavier.
