Advanced Tricks / Tap Shadow

Well.... I been spinnin' for about a year, but I don't get much time to practice so I can't really do the trick I'm thinking of, but its basically a Full Tap, that ends like a Shadow instead of catching it back inbetween your thumb and index. So it does a full turn and then slides on the palm and drops between 1, and 2 like a Shadow. Don't know if this has been done before but my guess is it would look great if done smoothly by itself or in a combo. Anyone wanna give it a shot, or tell me if it been done before... anything would be great. THX- Deathpony

I know it was talked about..somewhere. I can't find any threads on it though. >_<
Doing Fulltap Reverse (or even Thumbspin Reverse) works well too. After the pen spins a bit on the thumb (and maybe index finger too), you flatten your hand and allow the pen to travel over the back of the hand and slide into a finger slot like a Neobak. Alternatively, instead of catching the pen in a finger slot, you could keep the pen on the backs of the fingers and do a Baktap or Bakflip. -

I've been doing this trick too,but I called it Half Tap T1 - 12.
Don't know what is the exact name for this trick. -

FooK came up with this back on UPSB v2, and I among others have also come up with it individually after that. I've found the easiest way to get this flowing smooth is starting with a Fl Fake Rev.
QUOTE (patte Thu Sep 01 @ 2005 7:26 am)my friend may have invented a new trick i don't think so but here goes,
Fook's neo- thumbaround
starting position: same as rev TA
well then you do exactly the same for rev Ta but flick your wrist a bit and let the pen go over your backhand and catch it somewhere like: 23 or 34
number of rotations: 1,5
variations: you can catch the pen in between12,23,34

personally i think its some kind of reverse extended TA or somethin RazzQUOTE (Ratboy Thu Sep 01 @ 2005 5:23 pm)Correct me if I'm wrong, but the pen doesn't actually go around the thumb, does it? In which case, I'd say it's a hybrid of Fake Reverse and Shadow Reverse.
I've done a similar thing with Full Tap and Shadow before.QUOTE (sketching Sat Sep 03 @ 2005 4:44 pm)It looks more like a hybrid of Halftap Reverse and Neobak 12-23 or 12-34.
You don't use fingers 1 and 2 to push right? You just move your wrist like a Neobak?
I'm pretty sure there is nothing official for this.
