I have some questions about the aerial: P-rial (Picool or any other french spinners)...
1. Does the pen need to be grasped and released from the base of the fingers, or can you release the pen anywhere between the fingers (maybe from the tips of the fingers)?
2. How long ago was this aerial invented? -

I think the pen can be released anywhere between the fingers
I'm sure that this trick is very very old, i never learned it, i never realized that this move can be trick
, but i sometimes did it. I think every spinner do it sometimes. -

Sweet trick, another aerial trick to add to my collection. You can never have enough aerial tricks. It's the perfect aerial to do after a baktap!

Looks cool to me,but it's gonna be hard for me to link it in combos...
I mean,I can link it in my combos,but after the P-rial trick,it's kinda hard for me to continue my combo smoothly. -

So invented in november 2006 (the first video release is the 26 november)
About your first question : i think you can use any position but is most easy at base of finger, if you need more thing about this trick i can (but sorry for my ugly english XD)
About the utilisation (video i put) : i think you can link with many trick but i used only shadow at this time when i did the video -

Certainly different. Since I'm learning some aerials, I think I'll start practicing that one too.

Of course it is. It's just a P-rial 12-wherever you catch the pen.
