Regular Pen Discussion / Staedtler Marker I found...

I was wondering around through art stores buying pens and markers when I came across the Staedtler mars graphic 3000 duo (with ink number? 800).
I live in Toronto, Canada and I found this marker to be very similar to the Korean Dong-A computer pens that I received some years ago. The barrel is plastic and has a light feeling, as opposed to the RSVPs which I found to be heavy. Also, the pen is double-capped already as each end has a different marker.
it's been really difficult for me to find pictures on the marker on the internet and I figure that most of you have not seen/used it before.
I managed to take a few picture (with a webcam sadly), here's a sample of what it is like until I manage to take some better ones:
The three pens/markers are the Staedtler triplus fineliner, Staedtler mars graphic, and Pentel RSVP.
if you live in the Toronto area and are interested, PM me and I'll tell you where I found them. -

although it is only 1-2mm thicker (in diameter), it feels MUCH thicker, not as much as a permanent marker as in it is still very much spinnable. In the pictures with my webcam (not uploaded though) you can't really tell the difference.
Although there is the size difference it still feels as light and fast as the comssa. -

Its the same as a Tombow ABT Marker:
Tombow Mod is just putting the big cap from a second marker over the first marker's small cap, then add grips to your liking. Nice mod. I use it relatively often -

is marker triangular?

the very thin pen in his picture is triangular, but the larger one that has the same mold as a Tombow ABT (round body).

I've never seen the ABT before but it does appear to be the same. Do you guys know where to find it in Toronto?

it seems that it has bigger diameter where the bigger cap is.

The staedtler that you showed and the Tombow ABT are the same pen, just different brand names. I've seen them both at a local art supply store in the states. If you want to make the Tombow Mod just buy another one of the staedtler markers that you showed, no need to search for a tombow

Midoco's on Bathurst and Bloor (just opposite Sonic Boom) has the Staedtlers.
I've been to the Curry's on Queen Street but I didn't check out that much. (They have Staedtler triplus mechanical pencils though, couldn't find them anywhere else!) -

i know, youd think its hard but its actually no different to spinning regular pens.
I am currently using a modded pen version of those markers.
It rules, the way it comes as sold is one of those markers with a grip all the way along it and a clear hexagonal top.
i would reccomend them for beginners who want a non-modded pen
