Well what I do is hold it at 34 at the back end of the pen, this ensures that it won't go around the ring finger and gives it momentum to go around the pinky. I sort of flick my hand upwards to get the motion of it as well. The catch it really only the difficult part.

Erm... Wouldn't that be a Fingerless PinkyAround? Isn't the last BackAround of a BakFall essentially what you did just there? (Korean BakFall that is).

To do a proper PinkyAround (not FL), don't you have to turn your hand the other way around so that your ring finger can push it?

Edit: After reading the wiki and following the link:

'in order to do the pinkyaround, you must completely 'reverse' your hand. in other words, if you're right handed, you need to have your palm facing right with the pinky as the 'top finger'. the pen should be between 34. flick upwards with the ring finger, make the pen go around the pinky, and catch back at 34. ' - Tokuwee

That's how I was thinking it should be done too. I've never seen a video of someone doing a PinkyAround though...

Aren't those more like Korean Backaround variations?

Not really variations... Korean BackAround = fingerless around - And they are fingerless arounds in the video.

Hmm, so then the Pinkyaround can only be fingerless, right?

Xero, read what Mats just said a few posts ago when he quoted Tokuwee and read the wiki link I gave. bangHead.gif

You turn your hand upside down and use the ring finger to push the pen.

Got this trick in 5 minutes on my right hand, but sometimes the pen still drops.
About 2 drops out of 10 spins.
Which means I haven't mastered it yet.
