you dont need blank cards, you just need magic cards (or any other kind of collectible cards), sleeve protectors and sheets of paper:

sure you need cards. if not you have no base.. having the plastic only will not work. this is why you need a card:
card protector
paper with card to be placed into card protector
writes trick on paper..
the card serves as a base. if not the card protector will not feel like a card. the paper is for writing tricks. -

Is there any competition going on for SPSG 6? If no, i'm proposing to do one. The reason why I raised this is because Singapore Book of Records (http://www.singaporebookofrecords.com/index.php) has contacted me regarding PS. I have mentioned to Mr Ong, president of SBOR, regarding SPSG 6 and he is interested to know if we can have a competition. One example is who holds the most no. of TS. It will then be recorded in the March 2008 edition of SBOR. (they are also putting me up

My suggested rules/modifications:
Write lots of tricks on cards, split them up into different families or whatever(sonics, charge passes, arounds, etc.).
Each player draws 1-2 cards from each pile, ensuring some form of variety in the 'combo' made. -

Ah yes, my suggestion was to have one basic trick deck and one modifier stack (2.0, rev, inv, FL etc.). Draw the same number of modifier cards as your trick cards, and assign them to each trick before flipping over. That's just the general idea.

Many people to thx for this gathering...
First, thx spinofdoom for wishing things to happen.
Second, thx ultimatsz for making things happen.
Thirdly, thx dathroat for helping out with my mod.
Fourthly, thx dathroat, ultimatsz, kensai, tay brothers, rey who showed and help me out the tricks that I am not sure of.
Fifth, thx the tay brothers for the RSVP.(he sold it to us, not for free btw)
Lastly, thx to all the spinners who came and made this gathering a fun and successful one.
Singapore pen spinners rocks!!!
For the card game, I think the grouping of card into family really helps.
As for the modifiers, maybe we draw lesser of it or we can choose to link or not to link it. Cos sometimes modifier helps in linking up those 'combos' I guess... -

Haha, since like you guys really love the RSVPs. You guys missed out a lot. During the ol'skool time, we tend to worship RSVPs like they are the best pens to spin with.

Hmm... An important detail is left out on the picture. SG PS'ers seem to like the pink/sky bllue colours scheme a lot. There are at least 4 pens in the picture with that colour.

arg...I'm very sorry guys...I guess I'm very late on the card game thing
I wanted to release it before your gathering, but I just got so busy with work I didn't get a chance to. For the last month, i've been pretty much working near 60 hours a week because of project deadlines.
Now it finally has seem to slowed down, but I got something else coming up next week that requires me to make a trip to NY.
After that, I'm hoping to come back alive and do a small gathering in Santa Barbara to further refine the card game rules.
Again, I'm very sorry I didn't make it in time for your gathering, but hopefully you guys will have another one in the near future and I'll have something released by then.
