General Discussion / I Mastered a Trick in my left hand? (but not in my right)

okay well i'm sure as many of you know, your right hand controls the mouse. due to this, i spin my pen in my left hand (in this case my non-master hand) in between clicks. I mostly do easy things, like TA harmonics, twisted sonics, fingerpasses, etc. But i started doing triangle pass lately. And now it seems i have mastered the triangle pass in my left hand, yet still need to in my right hand.

Left handed people are lucky. Has this happened to anyone else? (it doesn't have to relate to mouse clicking, just mastering a trick in your non master hand)

    EDIT

well maybe i mastered it in my right hand too... but it spins faster and smoother in my left hand

I have tricks I can do in one hand, but not in the other. When I 'transfer' them to the other hand, I normally learn them much quicker on the other hand, because I already know how the trick works, and so only need to train the muscles. I'd say if you started learning TrianglePass on your right hand, it will take a lot less time to learn than it did to learn in your left hand.

I don't see how left handed people are lucky though? Left handed people tend to use the mouse with their left hand, and so are in the same situation as yourself...

Everyone I know who is left handed uses their left hand to control the mouse. *shrug*

Whenever I have to use a mouse, I use my right hand. I learned long ago that I'm too lazy to keep switching the mouse back & forth when I start and finish on others' computers. I use my left hand for most computer work since I have a laptop with a touchpad and use my left hand for that.

I learned all the Fundamentals with my right hand since there were no left-handed tutorials or anything back then. I just learned with my right hand, then switched over to my left.

I was motivated to use my left hand because I would spin my right hand sore. D:

My Sonic Reverse 23-34 is better in my left hand that my right hand.

That's the case with me too...

Actually, when I go on the computer, I use that opportunity to make my left hand psing better and it's been working XD

lol. Same here. For some reason, when I first started practicing arounds and rev arounds, my fingers would get sore very quickly.

My thumbspin 1.5s are more consistent on my left hand.

    haha, me too xD

i dunno, i don't really spin too much when i'm on the computer
i may pick my pen up with my left hand sometimes when i'm on the computer, but that usually lasts less than a minute so i don't get too much practice with my left when on the computer

i tried practicing my left hand a bit awhile ago (when my right would get so tired) but now, whenever my right hand is in pain or is just tired, i just sorta stop spinning until it feels better

Well, I'm trying to learn a few tricks that use the Twisted Sonic 23-12 for the momentum, and the side of my last phalanx on my ring finger has paid the price. bangHead.gif

Haha, I use the mouse with my left hand, so I can always spin with right.

To follow others' stuff, I can do Weissian BackAround better on my left hand.

Kind of amazing though. But for me, my left hand still cannot spin normally, except some fundamentals...
