Should PassAround be abolished and the appropriate around notation be used instead?
A PassAround is, after all, just an around 0.5.

I voted to get rid of it. It was confusing anyway, since a passaround normal went on the opposite side of the hand as a pass normal.

I'm for abolishing the name Passaround. I was for it as UCPSB seemed to endorse the name and it kept from using the Interrupted Trick Notation too often during the introduction period of the notation. Now, the notation is used often enough (especially the informal notation) I'm more comfortable using the notation instead of a new trick name.

It has been approximately a week since this topic was created. Since there are a couple of people who have voted against removing Passaround, perhaps it is best if those who had voted so state their reasons. Otherwise, I suggest that we wrap up this topic and create a public statement against the use of Passaround as soon as possible.
