Wouldn't it be awesome...?

I think we would need a good site to upload videos, files and pictures related to penspinning to. A place where they don't dissappear after 6 months. A place from where we can direct link, play directly and embed high quality videos from. I don't know how all this would work, but would it be possible to fix something like this via UPSB?
If we get more server space, seeing how we now already easily can afford what we have, we could have like 100mb space for all Members (20+ posts) or maybe just for the Old Timers (100+ posts). I bet xshadowfire can fix so we can embed .avi files onto the forums, and have both a streamer and a downloadable link for the video. It would make it so much easier to keep penspinning files clean and organized. No need to have them spread out on a dozen different sites, when we can just gather everything here.
I personally hate finding a tutorial or thread on UPSBv2 where there are pictures whose hosting has expired. Or links that are dead. Or videos that have dissappeared. Let's not force future penspinners to go throught this too. -

Quality = suxorz
I don't want to watch worldcup videos in that quality. Putfile is also retarded, megavideo lags, and I dunno about the others. I'd be willing to donate $30 every few months if it costs too much. -

hmm well not that many ppl are gonna film in very high quality anyway, youtube is not bad, it's difficult to get high quality using stream, if you need downloadable links, use sharebee.

Is Dailymotion a higher quality than YouTube? Maybe Veoh? Vimeo?

look at there media system. i think its what you are looking fro, but with higher quality.
the media system on that site used to belong to the site decknique.net
but the decknique guy sold his media idea/concept thing to theory11.
also take a look at the new media section on decknique.net , its very smart and innovative -

Theory 11 is awesome
The problem with a proprietary system is that it would be a lot of work to actually make the system. Using other sites for uploading videos is convenient. There are lots of flash video players out there, but not too many of them focus on high-quality video. Having a proprietary system would be cool and a lot more professional looking, but would take quite a bit of work. -

I laffed.
Oh, one lollish thing is that some peoples image links still die though. I think it's mostly when someones photobucket account is deleted or something? That's what I see most often atleast, dead photobucket links.
