Here's an official thread for discussing the Anti-Gravity variation of a Fingeraround.

    sketching's stance:
I'm for ending use of the name for this variation in favoring of using existing Fingeraround notation to describe it using Fingerless Fingeraround xx-xx notation to describe a Fingeraround that is held in place by only one finger.

    Example:
Anti-Gravity, index finger variation = palm-down Fingerless Indexaround Reverse 11-11 or palm-down FL IA Rev 11-11

Mats' stance: Agrees with Sketching. Anti-Gravity doesn't fit with naming convention and should be scrapped.

What about the Gravity Backaround? It's different from a regular Backaround since it has no push, or handmotion to make the pen move.

Do you have a video? I'm pretty sure Phya tried one in his Evolution video but I think he does actually use a fingerless push...

    My wiki definition...

    Gravity Backaround Normal 12-T12
The Gravity Backaround is performed the same as a Backaround, except that there is no initial push.

    • The pen is held in the [[Finger slot|12 slot]] near the end of the pen. The [[COP]] is above the fingers.
    • The index and middle fingers loosen their grip on the pen to allow gravity to pull the pen downwards.
    • The hand is rotated to a palm-down position to allow the pen to side over the back of the hand before entering into the T1 slot.
    • As the pen enters the T1 slot, the hand is rotated back to the vertical position. The pen is caught in the writing position.

I should add to the wiki definition that a fingerless push is needed about halfway through the trick to get the pen back into the (T)12 slot instead of just falling off the hand.

I actually tried to film one ages ago. I think it fits well with Sketchings description.
