Tutorials Pending Approval / BIC crystal mod

Don't know if this mod has already been posted but here it is: A mod of a BIC crystal made almost just like an RSVP V1:
Materials: \
1 BIC Crystal
One Zebra Z grip
Just about any form of tape except duct tape.
A drill
Take the BIC Crystal and drill the hole and reverse the ink tube just like an RSVP V1, and file down the clip. The Bic Crystals are clear so I add my own design paper to them. Take the Z grip and take it apart so you have just the grip. The grip is too large for the Bic Crystal so you have to wrap tape on the front of the pen to make it thicker. Once the pen is thick enough, take a glue stick and coat the tape with it. slide the grip on it should be kind of tight. Let the glue dry and you have a finished product.

Why would it be closed? There's an easy-to-follow guide to make a mod that should be super-easy to visualize and make.

OMG this is not worthy of a thread. first of all the pen doesnt look that great and i can imagine the spinning would be quite bad. The feel of a bic crystal is really bad its shaped weird and way too thin. On top of that the amount of tape needed to get the zgrip to fit would make it unpleasantly front heavy, and since the grip is so disproportionately big it makes for a nice obstruction while spinning. This isnt a new mod, all it is doing is using the worst type of substitute materials to degenerate the original v1. This isnt useful to anybody if someone was really that limited in pen selections then yes theyd substitute what they can to make a pen, but for gods sake you dont have to show it off. There is no need for a tutorial on how to use substitute parts for a mediocre v1. The Lakubo mod i can understand because it actually spins good and people probably didnt know about the pen beforehand so a short tutorial is suitable. Id like to see a picture of the balance. I cant imagine this becoming popular or even used at all. Ive said this much already so might as well give some constructive criticism. Try and make a pen with a uniform thickness. The balance is best slightly back heavy or centered and most people prefer the barrel size close to a comssa or rsvp.

Syrn, this is a beginner mod a mod not worthy of a thread is something like a bictory where you glue weights on it to make it like a kt.

Yes, even if Syrn was being a little harsh he is right. There have been a lot of threads for beginner or "first time" mods. Most of them have been pretty poor midifications with obscure, unpopular parts with lousy specs (momentum, length, etc) While they are first time mods, it would be better to post them in the "show off your pens" thread rather than making a new tutorial thread for a pen that few people will end up using. I hope others will read this and think before creating a tutorial thread. How good is this mod? What pros does it have over existing mods? Why would someone want to make this mod? Lastly, please have pics before making a tutorial, even if it is only the final product.

Yes it is pretty bad, but I wasn't trying to show it off I was trying to get some feedback on it from people who have been spinning longer than I. Sorry for taking up thread space.
