Can anyone post a video tutorial of how to do that fakie twist before the fingerless thumbaround? its hard to explain, but they grip the pen palm down between their thumb and index, then they like move thier arm to make it kinda spin, then that puts it in a fingerless thumbaround. I explained it to the best of my ability but if anyone understands what i am talking about and can post some sort of tutorial to help me learn it, that would be great.

(PS: i didnt know if the fingerless thumb around was a variation of a thumbaround, or an advanced trick so sorry for posting the topic here tongue.gif )

I'm guessing that you are talking about Charge Reverse T1 > Fingerless Thumbaround REVERSE.

In a lot of videos I've seen, people do Reverse Thumbflap charge before doing a Fingerless Reverse TA, but I seem to do Fingerless Reverse TA fine without the charge. Is the charge really necessary?

It really depends...I've seen videos where people use TF Rev Charge before a FL TA Rev, and others that don't use TF Rev Charge before a FL TA Rev. I believe(correct me if I'm wrong) that it's done for aesthetic appeal/to build momentum?

Yeah, it's not neccessary, I think it makes it a lot easier cause it gives you a second to gather yourself, and I think it looks nicer, but a lot of, if not almost everyone can do fl ta rev fine without it.

    i think it's mostly personal style... rolleyes.gif
i really like the way neosonic > TF charge rev > FL TA rev looks so i do it a lot.
i can't link into FL TA rev as easily or fluidly without TF charge rev so I do it cuz it's easier and in my opinion, better looking.

I use it to build momentum. i can do it without the thumbflap charge though
but very hard to link the tricks. :x

A bit off topic, but does Rev TF Charge go clock wise or anti clock wise?

Clockwise if you're right handed, Counter clockwise if you're left handed.

Why is that though, for charges between 1-4, reverse is anti clockwise?

It looks cool and adds style.
