So when you are doing a combo for a collab, how long do you spend from the moment you decide 'I want to make a combo' to the actually point where you decide to film? How consistant do you get the combo before you pull out the camera?

I spend at least 2 weeks in advance on a combo, and when I join a collab, I usually already have a combo in mind.

I MUST be able to get it at least 1 out of 3 tries before I bother to attempt filming, since spinning in front of a camera screws me up bad. laugh.gif

I should try this, I usualy spend 2 evenings for filming :/

When I want to do my best (i.e for World Cup), I make and practise combo 3-5 days, then I film in 2 evenings.

For regular stuff, like normal battles, I tend to freestyle in front of the camera 'till I can think of some cool stuff to do, then film and keep building on the combo 'till I get a neat one. Usually takes less than an hour. For OMGBBQ stuff (like the WC) I tend to think out certain parts I want to include, practice them a week beforehand and then come up with the rest while filming during one evening. This doesn't always turn out so well though.. I sometimes also think out a combo bit by bit 'till I have a complete sequence, and then use it once something suitable comes up. Then I usually somewhat lamely practice the combo during a month or so before I eventually find something to use it for and film it.

Varies a lot is what I tried to say. For some collabs I have worked on a combo for 5 minutes, for others a month or so.

I used to try and make a combo a few days before the collab. But while filming it never worked and I always ended up just freestyling with a few parts from my planned combo. In an effort to make better vids I have been working on my current combo for about a month and when it is ready I will sign up for a collab to put it in.

I always try to set aside at least 1 1/2 weeks for a particular combo. From the moment I conceive the combo to the filming. However, there are times where I go clutch and I spend only like 2 days.

The first time I ever completely do my combo is when I'm filming. Sometimes this takes like an hour to get it right but my first round ECS Tourny combo, I got that one after like 10 minutes.

i'm kind of like Sfsr, i freestyle until i find some neat minicombos, or have a few planned (cf. my battel VS taru , the intro was found while freestyling, by accident).

I usually try to plan some original stuff, but most of it usually goes in seperate combos, can't be bothered taking so much time to film a combo built with every idea ...
