Hi, this is not exactly my first mod that I have created since one month of ps-ing, but I feel its decent enough to worth posting a tutorial on it. I was trying to make a mod that looks like a rsvp mx, since Singapore doesnt sell RSVPs, i had to look for an alternative. So after finding a suitable body, I created the "Marvy MX". I dont know whats the MX for lol, I just added it for fun. So lets get started.

It should look like this :

    Specifications:

Weight: equal or slightly heavier then a RSVP MX
    COG= COP
Length: 19.5 cm ( can be changed to own preference
    Writable: Yes

    Materials:

    1 Marvy Doubler 1800
    1 Pilot Super Gel Cap
1 STAEDTLER Camel HB Pencil ( or any other pencil of suitable width)
    1 Signo Tip
    1 HGG Tip
    1 Hgg Grip
1 Ink tube for writing ( i used the ink tube from a pilot super grip)

    Step 1:

Remove the caps, ink and tips from the Marvy Doubler Marker.

    Step 2:

Cut the barrel of the Marvy Doubler to a length of 13 cm. Cut from the back of the barrel i.e not from the tip. (If you want a longer/shorter pen, cut according to your wishes)

    Step 3:

Take the Ink tube ( I used a pilot super grip ink tube) and stuff it inside the marvy doubler body, making sure it pokes out through the tip of the Marvy Doubler, and push it in until it cant really go through any more. ( don't push too much though, the whole thing might go thru)

    Step 4:

Cut the pencil to a length of 7.2 cm, and screw a Signo Tip onto one side.

    Step 5:

Slide a Hgg Grip onto the pencil, until it entirely covers the broader part of the Signo Tip.

    Step 6:

Stick the pencil inside the barrel, until the end of the pencil without the Signo Tip touches the inktube which is already inside. The Hgg Grip should slide over the Marvy Doubler Body, if it doesnt, just make sure it goes over somehow.

    Step 7:

Screw a Hgg tip onto the tip of the Marvy Doubler. It should stick on firmly.

    Step 8:

Put on the Pilot Super Gel Cap over the Marvy Doubler Tip, and its done!

    Optional:

Break the clip of the cap off ( it might change the cog though)
Change the length of the barrel according to your wishes
Push the Pilot ink tube into the marvy doubler barrel abit to make it look nice without the nib protuding out alot.

Please give some feed back on my first mod, all comments are welcome. And yes, the picture quality suxorz. Its a 2 mp handphone cam, the best my family has atm. rolleyes.gif

It looks nice, but it kinda wastes a lot of parts.
BTW, I think step 5 should say hgg grip, not tip

I happen to have alot of spare parts lying around lol, so I just put them together. Some people might feel it needs alot of parts, but all of the parts are cheap.

Because I have one RSVP that iNoob sold to me for 4 SGD, dry.gif so i have a real mx. It should be heavier then a real mx, as there is a signo tip+hgg tip. As for the RSVP MX, it only has a hgg tip, so it should be lighter. But i guess the RSVP body is heavier then the Marvy Doubler's' so the weight of my mod should be around the same as a RSVP MX or heavier.

@Jack, it does spin well as the COG=COP, and it feels ok.

I had a MX before, then i converted it to a mmx. Anyways, i can always pull off the g2 barrel and add a hgg grip for a mx. Sorry if its off topic :\
