Yeh it messes mine up a little as well. Your videos are clear though so I dobn't think it matters that much.

I think youtube rapes .wmv files

    try other formats

FLV would probably retain the most quality

YouTube has the option of viewing videos in their original quality now.

    I can't find it.

Is it an option when uploading videos so they can be viewed in their original quality? Since I doubt they have hi-qual versions of everything uploaded this far.

ye, thats my new problem too... i solved video quality like this : Using AMCap software version 9, i set none avi compression, then i convert with total video converter into h264 avi video and upload to youtube. I film with minimal exposure, lighted by very sharply light and this is "effect"...

I can't seem to get youtube uk to load.

I have seen certain videos on youtube that has exceptional video quality. Does anybody knows what's the best format to upload videos on youtube so that the video quality can be retained.

I seems to cannot access other countries youtube too. I need to change the url from eg. fr.youtube.com/whateverwhatever to www.youtube.com/whateverwhatever.
    Kinda troublesome.

Adding "&fmt=18" to the end of video links should view videos in their original quality though some cases it makes it worse.

youtube has to kill your quality a bit or else if everyone was uploading crazily good quality videos
youtube would have to pay a crazy amount of moeny for bandwidth

I heard that to get high quality vids on youtube, put like 5 mins of blank space at the end, and it gives you more room, which is all devoted to the actual video.
