If you have a negative number of new messages, it's because you deleted PMs without "reading" them (clicking on them).
To fix the problem. PM yourself until you're at 0. Then read all those PMs and delete them. From now on, read your PMs before deleting them.
BUG IS FIXED, DO WHATEVER YOU WANT WITH YOUR PMS. DELETE THEM AT ANY TIME. -
