Lately, I've been spinning my simplified version of Trogz' Hybrid Comssa MX the most:
I've been a fan of the classic Comssa mod with grips for a long time, though I don't spin one currently.
I still spin my black & gold Momentum MX a bit too. -

I spin a standard pencil, and a lakubo. I like pencils because they aren't super baton-y, so people won't be like "OMGZ, U CHEETED WIT DA BATON!!!1111 I CULD DO THAT 2 IF I HADZ THE BATON!" I really hate it when people do that. I started spinning a pencil to shut them up, but I ended up liking a lot, so I just stuck with it.

when i spun i loved the grip aviare and the kt. cuz i like pens with momentum cuz it made spinning alot easier. for single cap mods it was rsvp mx all the way

i tend to like double sided mods more than single sided ones
MX^2 is prolly the only single sided mod i really like
as for double sided mods:

i'm pretty easily impressed with any double-sided mod thats balanced
like right now, i'm spinning a KeiTyo with all the insides taken out of it except just the white part of the back with gray caps on both ends and two black caps
or sometimes i'll go to morning glory and pick up some cute markers double-cap them and balance them out +add grips -

I use any grip I can find left over. Anyball, G2's, RSVP, Signo. But mainly RSVP. I just cut them and add them together. -

its like an MX made with a G2 grip execpt i stuck on half of another pen insted of the tip
its really long and i like the feel of it.
if i had a KT anymore i would use that mor.

my favorite mod would definitely be my all blue msxa with a slight adjustment
-signo tip on the front cap
-sunburst backcap with piece in the back removed
-hgg tip in the backcap--past the grip (you 'might' not be able to remove this after you put it in cause i have yet to be able to remove it when i try)
-cubix insert inside the barrel under the inktube (makes the center not feel as light)
the signo tip at the front instead of the 3 hgg tips and the hgg tip all the way in the back--past the rsvp grip--adds much more momentum that one would think that it would
simply placing the tips a bit further back (hgg tip in the back) and concentrating it a bit (signo tip..) makes a big difference on the feel i think
this is just my own personal variation of the msxa and can really only be done if you use a black/blue comssa cap because of larger nub on the front--but i just wanted to share it while posting that it's my favorite mod -
