Regular Pen Discussion / New Cheap Grip/ tip holder?

i found a few of these interesting pencils at my grandmothers house, and decided to take the grips off of them.
Wow are they ever cool.
if you look further you will see some pictures with the grips holding a signo tip in them:
It fits great!
the grips are quite flexible and rubbery. They holes on either side fit a pencil loosely, and a pen perfectly.
They can stretch enough to fit snug on my comssa, and could, in theory, be stretched further.
They come in multiple colours, are ribbed and lipped at the bottom, and rounded at the top. The colours can be mixed and matched.
I think that this is a monumental find. What else could you ask for in a grip?
and now for the best part. The price.

$4.99 for TWENTY!!! this includes 10 clear, and 10 other colours.
ASWELL: the total tools grip (TT grip) with a signo tip is approx. twice as heavy as my metal comssa tip!
All that i ask for is... if anyone uses these for a mod. Put Stevieboy7 in the name?
thanks -

I've known about those from 5 months ago lol...i never said anything though because i really didnt like the feeling of the grip. It's way too grippy for my taste. Tricks involving infinity-like motions are tough because the grip allows no slippage. Of course if you're not planning to doing any infinities or tricks involving the grip touching your fingers then you should be good to go. Overall, profile/anyball grips are still a much better choice.

No, that is a ridiculous request. How about everytime anyone uses an RSVP in a mod, they have to include the name "Kam" in the name....just....no. -

Nice find, but I have this to say: there are already other grips that can do the same job as what this grip does (e.g HGG, Anyball). And I dont think those pencils(?) are readily available everywhere, as compared to other popular choices. And the naming part is teh lulz.

its just a joke. lol none of the mods have peoples names in front of themQUOTE (Gunblakes @ Mar 8 2008, 05:05 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Nice find, but I have this to say: there are already other grips that can do the same job as what this grip does (e.g HGG, Anyball). these pencils are just as easy to find as any pen, if not easier. They can be found wherever crayola is sold. ie: Target, walmart, staples, office depot. they are probably easier to find, and less than half the price. Anyball grips are approx. $1 each. These grips are $0.25 each. Which means alot to cheap modders. -

Maybe they'd be useful for their ridged parts on mods that need weight on the ends...
