Ok so after being grounded for a weekend and not having any mods I came up with some Capping/Uncapping concepts. REMINDER: I wasn't trying to show off my skills or anything just a concept.
Threw in a quick combo that I made in 5 seconds

Wow nice idea, seems quite interesting and radical. This could add another dimension to penspinning, but on the otherhand, what do people with retractable mods do?

I think Leviathan did one of those tricks in a video awhile ago, Promo 13/Unmodded Pen Collab i think? Its cool to see, but rare to see in combos.

Does he even still spin anymore? Yea the only one I saw was his combo in the Unmodded Pen Collab. -

Yep, I still spin. You got some good ideas there. There's definitely a lot more that can be done with one hand capping.
I believe it was Asian Tim that also did a one hand cap in a combo. He held the cap in the thumbflap like people hold a second pen in the thumbflap when they spin 2p1h. -

yea, look at penstudioz, i think tohlz is the guy who started this concept... its kinda hard to do it smoothly in a combo tho :/

Awww I was about to do a uncap-recap trick in my next video =/
Well the best way to do it, is to consider the as a second pen. So it's just like 2p1h.

Yeah it was really hard to get that smooth.
I think i was still criticized that it wasn't smooth in the video. That was the best i could do at the time.
But yeah man, I like your concepts. I might steal one.

This is an extremely intreresting concept for penspinning. Opening a whole new window. It reminds me of poker chip flourishes; holding chips with some fingers while preforming tricks with other fingers. I think there will be people so see this as a new opportunity, but some who oppose this window to keep penspinning traditional.
