Regular Pen Discussion / dr. grip tip replacement

today i went to my school book store and just bought two pens and they just happened to have very similar tips to the dr. grip's.the tip is the same height as drip and has a ring around the bottom but the only difference is that it is more round around the middle. the good part is that it fits on the kt cap and the beifa grip i have holds on to it quite nicely. so yeah to me its a pretty good find hope you guys find it useful. the tip comes from Zebra gr8 gel pen and they cost about $1.49 canadian at my school (usually over priced) anyways here are some pics

the tip seems to be made of some brownish metal, the inside seems copperish but outseide is silver as you can see. the actual weight of the tip seems to be similar to 2 hgg's placed on top of each other, but it seems to be quite a bit lighter than the dr.grip tips, i guess for those of you who dont like crazily heavy mods, this may reduce the weight pretty significantly. to me the actual modded kt with these tips seems like spinning a metallic comssa but with a bigger body and slightly heavier ends. personally i like it better than the dr.grip tips because the dr.kt mod is a bit too heavy for me. also the ring on the tip isnt quite as big as dr.grips so it doesnt bulge out on the beifa grip, so thats another plus

That's because the tips are not made of metal. I've found many so called 'dr.grip tip' replacements but all of them turned out to have plastic tips that were painted metallic silver on the outside thus tricking me and making me waste my money. A tip that large that only has the weight of 2 hgg tips is definitely painted plastic, sorry.

Yep, Im familliar with that pen and the tips are NOT metal. If you squeeze the tip with plier is will break easily. So sadly this is NOT a dr. grip tip replacement.
