Advanced Tricks / Basketball Spin

The initial push is like a fingerless around reverse, right? Eso's tut is hard to hear and the wiki doesn't really help. Plus, upsb doesn't have a thread on it, so I thought I'd make one.

The push is not even like a push, it is more like a pull, where you pull the pen up on the tip of the fingers... I dont really know any other tricks where you use a pull as the way to move the pen, so you will have learn it from scratch for this trick..

correct, as you extend your fingers, you impart a rotation on the pen. -

The reverse is a counter-clock wise spin right? Kind of like Aces.H vid in the world cup. I did it like I would an IA, but diagonally. -

xshadowfire broke one combo of aces.H down once (ucpsb+psh-collab). He called the indexspin like that:
"Tw. sonic 23-12 ~> Inverse IndexSpin 2.0 ~> pass rev. 12-23"
It has nothing to do with a basketball spin by zombo. . it spins counter-clock, the push is different, the position where it spins is different... i think only the catch is bb-spin-like -

its also wrong, because if I understand it correctly, you're spinning CCW as a RH, which is the same direction as the IndexSpin, which is the reverse of the BB spin.Date: Sun, Jul 27 2008 22:11:10just wondering if you can use it

It would require lots of practice though (or just fluking it). It should be linked from Charge 12, just move the Charge up to the fingertips and execute it.

that's a good question, AFAIK nobody use it in the middle of the combo. You can certainly start a combo with it like I do.

if you hold the pen between 12, you will most likely get a charge and not a bball spin.
