    PassAround vs Neo-sonic
What is the difference between this tricks? I'm thinking about this problem long ago, and imo PassAround normal 23-12 = Inverse neo-sonic normal 23-12. And now i want to describe why I decided this. Look at the standart PassAround normal 23-12. This trick start like MiddleAround normal 23-23, but pen don't make full rotation, pen makes only 0.5 rotation and ends in 12.
But, if i finished MA reverse 23-23 in 12 slot, like PSA, what should be it? I think it's Inverse PassAround. Inverse, because in standart PSA normal 23-12 pen is on the palm side of the hand, in Inverse PSA pen is on the top side of the hand.
And now, try to do inverse PSA, but start this trick in 12 slot (like IA rev). It would be simple neo-sonic normal 12-T1. Pen makes 0.5 rotation on the top side of the index finger. So, neo-sonic = inverse PSA, and inverse neo-sonic = PSA. That's why i think that PassAround normal 23-12 = Inverse Neo-sonic 23-12.

Actually, the use of Passaround is now being discouraged by the Naming Committee. A thread about it can be found here, and the article is in the wiki.

Both can just be forgotten about and the described as being partial arounds...

the way i see it a neosonic has contact with all three fingers at one time and must always end up in the thumbflap.

it if goes to T1 it's a passaround...

Neo-sonic don't contact with 3 fingers. In starting and ending position pen contact with 2 fingers, but in the middle of the trick pen goes around the finger, like fingeraround reverse. But, u catch the neo-sonic in TF/T1/T2/T3/T4 pos.

if it doesn't end up in the thumbflap, it's not a neosonic

Why do u think that neo-sonic must always end in TF? What about neo-sonic harmonic 12-T1-12 for example?

When i write breakdowns, if it goes to T1 T2 T3 or T4 i write it as a passaround. If it's in the TF, i write Neosonic. Just my thing...

In upsb wiki i read, that neo-sonic can end in T1/2/3/4

    Ehm, no it's not.

NeoSonics can go to any slot possible, as well as T1,T2,T3 and T4.

NeoSonic 34-12 thumb.gif ...atleast, a hybrid that follows the same basic path as a NeoSonic, but ending in the 12 slot.
