Just like a normal bak only that you need a bit more of a hand flick.
Did you watch Eso's tutorial on bakfall? There is also a pinky bak there and how to do it.
If you still don't get it I'll show you ^^

try doing a bak with just the thumb and index finger

that's how much flick you need in a pinkybak

    yes thats a good advice
doing index bak without the middle finger, is like doing a pinky bak without a finger under it (there is none)

All backarounds are fingerless and require hand movement. If you're pushing, it's not a backaround.

    that's not a bak

    that's an IA rev T1-T1

a bak is not a bak without a flick

you're luckier than me...i can do in the pinky but not in the ring...find it more difficult somehow...

When starting i think the pinkybak requires abit more hand movement then just a normal bak and then once you get it you can master it with little hand movement.

    movement is the answer thumb.gif

Practice. If you understand what the trick is all that is left is to practice.

Pinkybak was easier for me after I loosened my hand a bit (the other baks became easier as well). With a loose grip on the pen it makes it much easier for it to go around.

Try to imrove the agility of your ringy finger. It needs to be really on the same heigh that the middle and index fingers and not over the middle. After, you better start your pinky backaround witn the palm really turned up. It is also important that you not push your pinky towaed the other fingers. It needs to stay in the same position, wich is a little bended, paralel to ringy and over it a bit, higer than the ringy a bit more that the width of your pen

Everyone finds pinkybak more difficult, but I find it that ringbak is the most difficult...
I think it's cause pinkybak has more to do with the push, and I'm better with that cause when it comes down to that kinda stuff I'm bad at catches and stuff xP
Ringbak just feels a lot more awkward for me

I can do pinky bak's pretty easy, it's just linking 23 - 34 bak. My friend has to go 180 degrees to do pinky bak. lol

do u mean a 180 degrees in the pass or what?

i can do the ringback half the time but i really need to move my hand and everything to do a pinkybak. I spose im not doin something right, i think its that my ring finger is to laz to get out of the way.

I have found that when learning to do a pinkybak you try holding it closer to the end of the pen, think it'll give you more momentum and make it easier. It will give you more momentum but it wont make it easier. I recomend holding it about halfway between the COG and the end of the pen.
    Just my two cents.

All you've got to do is streches....

sometimes it's not quite as easy as "do more stretches"

I've been PSing for 4 years and i still don't have independent motion between pinky and ring finger it's gotten better over time, but is still pretty bad lol
