This is the new mod that I made. I named it Comssola:
The materials needed to make it are:
One Crayola Twistable Colored Pencil (DO NOT BUY CRAYON TWISTABLES)
Two Dong A caps
One RSVP inktube
Grips (of your choice)
Clear celophane tape
Teflon Tape
Acetone (nail polish remover)
Paper/coffee filter (to be used with acetone)
Chopstick/Skewer
Scissors/Exacto-Knife
Drill
Saw

^This is the insert I used. Feel free to use it however you want by changing the color or whatever else comes to mind.

This mod is sturdy, writable, balanced and spins pretty well. The COG=COP, the body is clear and has a very slight gripped texture. You can put inserts in it and obviously customize the grips on the caps.

Sweet looking mod and I like the Christmas color scheme, although it's a little late for that. Does it spin the same? The body looks a little heavier -- which is nice. The comssa feels a little too light sometimes. Is it writable on both sides? Now that'd rock.
Possible new name suggestions...umm..

It spins especially well, probably since the COG=COP. the body is a tad bit heavier, but not by alot. enough to be barely noticable. you can deffinately make it writable on both sides, but in my opinion, it looks better this way, but it is totally possible. -

its the same idea as the comSSa twist...but why dont u make it go through the comSSa cap...taking a cap off on a comSSa gets annoying. just a thought

because then it would be copying a comssa twist, and also unless you want it to be a colored pencil, then having a cap is better -

Cool mod! Does it acually twist or does the inktube just stay there? If it does twist won't the insert get in the way?

haha noooo, its just the Crayola Twistable Colored Pencil gives a good clear body and has a spiral design on the inside which makes the insert look awesome!

It's quite a nice mod and there are a lot of comssa users, so I'm sure there will be. Now, make a Dr. Kt Twistable and it'd be a bigger hit. A lot of KT users here on upsb. At least that's what it seems from the show off your pens thread. -

haha thanks, i sure hope so... maybe later ill try to do that, but right now im starting small on my modding. a big reason for that is because my mom HATES it when i order off of penwish or trade... -

It should look familiar from height measurements: Eg) 6'2" = 6 feet 2 inches -

Yea, K4S is right. and make sure that you read it as 0.5" because 5 inches is oh so wrong -

Acctually, they have crayola twistables in colored pencils and in crayons.

Yea i found that to be the only downside to the mod... but the ironic news is that the smallest pack of these twistables go for less than a single Dr. Grip -

No, renaming your mod is not allowed. If you couldnt decide on a name you shouldnt have released a tutorial until you figured that out. You dont see car companies changing their model names just because they dont like it...
