Well... seems like the worst possible case happened to us.

We failed to gain any points in the second round, and the teams that were right behind us did well and passed us... this is what I feared at the beginning of the round but it seems like the opponents have raised their level much higher.

I don't have any problem with the results except that I'm very disappointed because of the lead we had in the first round. When the videos came out, I knew it wasn't going to be easy...

However, I'm still proud of all of you. You did well and I think we gained respect around the world and managed showcase our talent.

Let's work harder for next year's World Tournament!

Scott, I'm sorry but it seems that I have let you down. I promised to you that you will get a chance to prove yourself again, but you didn't get it...

I must admit I did not put in as much effort into the combo as I should have. mellow.gif

I'm sorry everyone for the poor performance. sad.gif

I had all the time to prepare but I didn't manage it well enough.

Anyway, we must have lost close battles for every match in round 2. huh.gif

    Good Job to everyone. biggrin.gif

I don't think i will participate in the next tournament. Other things in my life have slowly taken over my time for pen spinning, and i cannot commit to another tournament. I felt like i let the team down this year, most likely did, and i don't know what to say but i tried my best. Even though it has only been one year, how my life works right now does not accommodate pen spinning like it used to. I seldom post on UPSB, I rarely converse with old pen spinning friends, and I find it difficult to just simply sit down and pen spin.

I guess it was my fault for joining the tournament in the first place, but to tell you the truth, it was a last feeble attempt to get me back into pen spinning.

I will obviously still be pen spinning, but not nearly enough to keep up with these (I guess I have to admit it some day) amazing French spinners, who seem to get 10 times better each day. I guess it is time for me to move on, and let the new generation spinners take my spot in the next tournament.

    I think everyone did awesome.
It's ok you didn't let me down.
I think the only thing that could have been done differently was not being so obvious with our line-ups, but not a big deal. :B
