When a page of the forums loads, the shoutbox gains focus, which generally messes up scrolling down to the content of the page because it gets stuck on the shoutbox. I generally do not care about the shoutbox when I'm viewing the forum pages. Can something be changed so that the shoutbox does not gain focus on pageload?

i don't see how that screws up scrolling, unless you're using arrow keys.
but either way, i'll try and look into it -

I'm using a Logitech trackball mouse, I can scroll about a page lenth, then the screen shoots back up to the shoutbox. I have to click somewhere on the page before I can freely scroll down a page.

I also don't like how I need to click outside the shoutbox before I press End, it gets annoying.
