Here is my third personal mod. It is an HGG version of the Grip Aviaire. This one writes out of both ends and has a grip in the middle (like the Grip Aviaire) that makes it great for palm spins. It is evenly balanced (COP=COG) and can be made to have a custom length (dependent on where you cut the HGG barrels). It is HIGHLY customizable. The sharpie caps come in different colors, the signo grips come in different colors aswell, any color insert or inktube can be put in there, and what ever grips you want on the front of course can be any color (depending on the grip).

    Materials

2x Pentel Hybrid Gel Grips (HGG)

    1x Uni-Ball Signo (grip only)

2x Sharpie Ultra Fine Point Permanent Marker (caps only)

    1x Pilot G2 (inktube only)

    2x Any grips (Profile/Anyball, G2, etc.)

    Electric tape

    Saw

    Sandpaper/File

    Paper (for plugs)

    Scissors

    Superglue

    Spoiler:
Take your two HGG's and remove the tips and pull out the inktubes. Set these aside for later. Also remove the back caps and set those aside for later. Next, cut the HGG bodies and G2 inktube as shown in the picture.

Take the G2 inktube section that you had just cut and cleaned and insert it inbetween the two HGG bodies. Use the before and after pictures as reference.

Wrap electric tape around the middle section until the tape is flush with the rest of the body.

Using any means necessary, push the Signo grip onto the body until it is dead center, covering the tape and all of the other protrusions. You should only see barrel after the grip is in the center.

Print out the inserts of your choice and insert them into the barrels. The G2 inktube should stop them from going all of the way through the barrel. The inserts should go behind the grip so you see no space between the grip and the insert.

Cut the HGG inktubes that you had just set aside as shown in the picture. Be very sure that you plug the backs of the inktubes with paper so that no ink can spill anywhere. Use the picture for further reference.
    http://i274.photobucket.com/albums/jj256/Guitrum/x6.jpg

Slide the cut and plugged inktubes into the body making sure not to disturb the inserts. Apply glue wherever necessary.
    http://i274.photobucket.com/albums/jj256/Guitrum/x7.jpg

Gather your HGG backcaps and screw on the HGG tips to the closed side as shown in the picture. Cut away about a centimeter off of the back caps with your scissors after the tips are screwed on. Use the picture for further reference.
    http://i274.photobucket.com/albums/jj256/Guitrum/x8.jpg

Take the Sharpie caps and remove the clips. Next, cut about 3/4 of an inch off of the caps. Use the picture for reference.
    http://i274.photobucket.com/albums/jj256/Guitrum/x9.jpg

Apply superglue into the open end of the backcaps with tips. Insert them into the caps so that the prongs in the caps go into the backcap with tips. Let them dry for however long you feel is necessary.
    http://i274.photobucket.com/albums/jj256/Guitrum/x10.jpg

Using any means necessary, put your grips (for infinity) onto the front of the caps.
    http://i274.photobucket.com/albums/jj256/Guitrum/x11.jpg

Push the caps onto the ends of the pen and you have just made an HGG Aviaire!

Oo, I like. Just some questions.

Is it possible to use a different barrel?
    Are the HGG tips essential?
    Weight.

    HGG's are expensive here =[

sure you could use a different barrels, but then it wouldnt be an HGG Aviaire. you don't need tips, but it looks better if you do have them. it weights just a bit more than an RSVP MX

Ah ok. I might try with RSVP barrels. Just one problem. I can't seem to find the caps.

The sharpie caps? it should be relatively easy to find. they used to have metal clips on them, but now i think that they are plastic. make sure that they are like cylinders
