   whats in a good pen? err...what makes a pen good for spinning rather.

   Momentum on the ends and good body texture. Plus everyone has their own preferences.
   
   Since you posted this in the regular pen discussion though i can only assume you are referring to regular pens...in which case the ability to mod/customize/assemble play a large role in what pens are used.
