Is there a difference between an Extended TA, and a TA Bust? does TA Bust even exist?

Extended Thumbaround: Thumbaround Normal T2-T1[1.0] ~> Indexaround Normal T1-12[0.5]

Extended Thumbaround Bust: Thumbaround Normal T2-T1[1.0] ~> Indexaround Normal T1-12[0.5] --> Korean Backaround Reverse 12-12[1.0]

Please use the Trick Thread Index since several other threads exist about Extended Thumbaround discussion.

Thats not completely what i was asking.

I was asking if there as a difference between a Thumbaround Bust, and an Extended Thumbaround. They are very closely the same trick. Seems like the only difference is that the pen lands a slight pause in the T1 slot before doing the bust.
Extended Thumbaround: Thumbaround Normal T2-T1[1.0] ~> Indexaround Normal T1-12[0.5]
Thumbaround Bust: Thumbaround Normal T2-T1[1.0] ~> Indexaround Normal T1-12[0.5]

Do you mean the difference between "extended TA" and "fake double"???

I'm probably wrong but i always figured:

extended TA = "Thumbaround Normal T2-T1[1.0] ~> bak rev T1-12[0.5]"

    and

fake double = "Thumbaround Normal T2-T1[1.0] -> FL pass T1-12" (this is as close to TA ~> bust as i can imagine dunno.gif)

Nonono. Okay, let's not take the Ext TA/Fake Double and whatnot discussion here. If we go back to how it was first broken down as on Pentrix, a Fake Double ends in T12, so what you wrote is wrong anyway K4S. Read LMnets megah thread on Ext TAs, Tornados and Fake Doubles if you want :P

If an Ext TA = TA Bust though all depends on what Bust is seen like. As Sketching has written in other threads, bust is actually for tricks that need an around linked directly onto them, since the regular spin direction is the opposite of the around direction. Since the ThumbAround already is an around, I wouldn't say that just adding an Ext TAish IndexAround makes it a Bust. You can use the Japanese naming systems "Spread" for this, but Bust just isn't the same.

Lotsa tornado/TA extended/fake double confusion. Rather annoying...

Is a Bust just a BakRev? From what i understand when you do a Twisted Sonic Bust, you are just doing a twisted sonic and a bakrev.. is that incorrect?

@CudOfCow: I believe that you are incorrect, read this post and the few posts above it.

Hey guys, I need some help on extended ta. after the normal ta when you made it go around your index, r u supposed to just catch it between 1 and 2 or make a full revolution and catch with the thumb?

I believe you can catch it between all three fingers...writing position.

You catch it between the index and middle fingers.

Fingerless Extended TA Bust is fun but make sure no one is sitting next to you.

geez, i like the idea of being able to do an extended thumbaround but 10 minutes of trying has acomplished nothing.
after the thumbaround, do u have to make a second motion to do the indexaround or does it just follow on with the momentum of the thumbaround?

You can perform Extended Thumbaround with index finger motion to push the bottom of the pen.

There's already a thread regarding the whole confusion of the NAMING between Tornado, Fake Double, and Ext TA. Right here. This thread needs to be on Ext TA only.

So, are we all clear that Ext TA is caught between 1 and 2?
And that if you catch it back in T12 (writing position), this is Ext TA > Pass Rev 12-T12, is that clear?

Also, I would not use the term "TA Bust". Not only is it hella confusing, we don't have a proper definition of "Bust", so you can't really just make up stuff and expect some kind of sense out of it.

    Hope this clears things up.
