Seems like something you would do when learning extended infinity on accident.

Hey guys, it's Pierre. The creator of the video Jamie posted

I originally created that video for my first battle at the UCPSB about a year ago, and did that pen spinning stall.

I wasn't sure If I had created it but I have not seen it done before during that time.
So if I'm the first who's done it, call it the Pierre stall.

haha but really lets name it.

    the Copper stall.

EDIT: It also would be nice if I got recognition in the wiki. Thanks guys! smile.gif

Should this even be classified as a new trick? It's just a bad extended infinity that lost momentum, or just something random...

I don't think it should be classified as a trick... just an opinion

lets leave naming it or not to the commitee

but, i dont think this should be named
its just stopping the pen mid spin

That's what a stall is, stopping the pen and balancing it.

@ZRandom: Extended Infinity is not the only way to get the pen in that position.

@iLLfOx: Stalls allow for the rhythm of the combo to be broken up and are a good way to change the feel of a combo mid-way. Example: you can be performing a palm-down series that ends with this stall, possibly from a Wiper Normal (which is already an under-used trick). You then flick the end of the pen with your fingers (kind of like a Bakflip) to transition into an aerial and catch the pen with the other hand or with a different hand orientation.

I was just watching an old UPSBv2 beginner's collab video, and someone called yahu does this trick. So I wouldn't say Pierre was the creator. I also think Copper stall is a horrible name.
