Board Comments / Shoutbox suggestion

    i don't like how when im typing there is shoutbox content controll,

    can we have a countdown every time we type something in so we can know when were allowed to talk?

    the coutdown is 20 seconds.

    that's not that much.

    i'm pretty sure its about 15. why do we even have flood control thing..?

    Edit: now that you mention shoutbox. how come shoutbox disappears when your looking at the blogs..?

    The flood control is to prevent a flood of spam.

    The blogs are not part of the main index, so that's why you don't see the Shoutbox.

    If you access IRC chat throught your browser (clicking the IRC link on top of the page) you don't need a password. It logs you in using you already accessed UPSB account...
