who's the better spinner?

as I have read some comments in youtube discussing who's better whether eriror or bonkura (as of 2007),
now here in this topic i wanted to ask you guys to give your own opinion on who's the better spinner between the two. -

Eriror! Love his speed and the way he spins. Bonkura mm his style was okay but not really intriguing

Very hard question. I would break it down as this:
Battling:
In terms of battling, one must look at the all round skills. Bonkura was smooth, had excellent control and execution and was very creative. Erirornal on the other hand, he's exceptionally smooth and controlled in his spinning, perhaps the best in the world at this aspect. His execution is also usually flawless. In terms of creativity, though he does sometimes put in some good stuff, it's rare to see great creativity from Erirornal. I would say however, in terms of battles, while Bonkura scores high all round, Erirornal takes top marks all round except in creativity which I would describe as 'above average'. I think Erirornal edges it in battles.
Collab or solo video:
In a collab or solo video, it all comes down to aesthetics really, and in this case, I would tend to go for Bonkura. To see a new trick or new idea is great. To see a video or a combo full of them, that is also performed to a high standard, this, to me, is simply perfect for a collab. While Erirornal does produce some fantastic combos for collabs and his solo videos, I don't think he has ever matches Bonkura in this aspect of spinning (yet). -

Both are great, but i like Bonkura's combos better because they are so creative and smooth, while Eriror lacks creativity. But Eriror can do all those sick tricks/combos/hybrids very fast and so smooth.

Hmmm... well when it comes to videos bonkura is the best. No one can make pen spinning interesting as bonkura can but Eriror is great at combos and PLUS eriror is still alive... lol
he can improve more. Well i like them both. -

umm... a really tough question.
I don't think I can really choose one of them.... Bonkura has a very creative style, and always trying new things (they way I see it anyway...) but Eriror is so smooth, and flawless....

Tough question, but I really think Eriror is the better spinner with difficulty and bonkura is the better spinner with creativity. Bonkura can make spinning really interesting with his style, finger movements and the tricks he uses. But, when you take a look at the breakdowns of his combos, they aren't as difficult as Eriror's. But, when you watch bonkura, his combos have more eye appeal. I really don't think there is a good answer to this question though.

Eriror - I like his speed and how he executes his tricks. Bonkura is good but i don't like his unique spinning much, but it is eye catchy.

I think that one of bonkura's main focus of spinning is purely presentation and entertainment. He probably wasn't too centered purely on battling or winning competitions. Erirornal's combos are just well.....BEAST and his combos revolve around trick difficulty and variety. Depends on preference and for me it would have to be bonkura.

I love Bonkura's smoothness and creativity, but Eriror wins in terms of awesome linkages and difficulty (In my opinion of course). Those shadows and arounds make me jealous. -

Stupid thread is stupid. Bonkura isn't even amongst us anymore so comparing is kind of stupid...you don't know what things Bonkura would have come up to if he was here now. Things that might have changed your opinion...
Also, just like music or art, there's a lot of taste factor here. Some like this some like that. Can't tell someone he's wrong...so what's the point?
But, in order to stay in topic, I'll give my opinion:
First, both are absolutely amazing. Bonkura has unique movements and aesthetic appeal , but mostly not difficult.
Thing about Erirornal is that his qualities beside the smoothness, difficulty and such are in small details inside the combo, like the style of his shadows, or that thing where his hand speed is faster then the pen speed you'd expect and it creates a sort of delay effect in the pen's spinning that I think is just phenomenal.

Oh yes, there are a lot of persons adding me on MSN everyday to flame me about how my spinning sucks.
As for the topic, bonkura is just more aethistically pleasing. There's nothing else to say. Sure, my technical skills slightly outlast his, but he has a lot of tricks I can't do either. All in all, his spinning is just simply better. -

why do we need this topic? it depends on what the kind of spinning the person likes. If the persons likes a slow but great spinning, then he/she should go for bonkura, if 1 likes fast spinning and combos with hard tricks, then he/she should go for eriror. it depends on what style the person likes

When I will be older I want to spin like Bonkura!!
Total fan of Bonkura, especially when he spins slow, but super smooth and have this distinctive "twisted" style, where fingers twists in every direction, just superb.
Xcuse Erior, but I never loved spinners who goes fast, it is a question of personal taste. But Erior is good. -

Okay, let's do a list of the characteristics of both. (they have both incredible skills, so this won't be in the list)

This got me to this conclusion: BonKura is the supreme master of the Japanese style, Eriror is the supreme master of the Old Schoo/Korean (althrough the korean master is maybe Taeryong)
To decide who is the best resumes in an eternal fight between Japnese and Old School style. It is as impossible to decide what is better of Ski and Snowboard. But the impossibility of deciding who is best does not close the question: which one do YOU prefer.

Eriror's like crazy fast and stuff but I always found that Bonkura made his fingers look like part of the spinning process.
