cool.. kinda consider my self as a closet cwalker hehehe.. started crip walking way back peaches n' cream days hehehe.. didn't took it seriously though.. got curious bout clown walk last year when i saw pimpmywalk's site..

you can start out with the basics.. the v, heel toe, v step back.. shoes.. i prefer sneakers with smooth soles.. pants.. well whatever you are comfortable with.. music.. i'd say peaches n' cream or drop it like its hot (yes i know, it does reflect my age hehehe).. the beat is pretty much easy to follow.. floor, practice with the smooth ones first before going to the streets smile.gif

anyway, i think the site has everything you need.. tsaka practice lang tsong hehehe

pro? i never took it seriously dude.. i just kinda' learned the basics then do combos with it.. gives me a little something to show off when clubbing hehehe..

becoming a pro.. not really sure, haven't been there.. but.. hmm i'd say, it would be an advantage if you can easily pickup beats and tempos.. like when doing v's, if i remember it correctly, in a 4 beats the 2nd and 4th beat normally have claps or some sort, that's the time you do the inverted v (toes-to-toes)..

try this one with "mims - like this" during the intro, starting position toes-to-toes, 1st beat transfer to heel-to-heel, 2nd beat(listen to the clap) back to toe-to-toe, 3rd h2h, 4th t2t, repeat two times then do a v step back 2 times.. hehehe

yes it is Crip Walk (not crown walk) - I think it's really difficult (I tried to learn some moves)
Try: Moon Walk (like michael jackson)
Air Walk (it looks awesome if some one can do it well)

C-walk can mean any 3 of them (Crip, Clown, or Crown), the speaker needs to have already specify which walk he's talking about. And yeah, I clown walk, not that good. All I have are the basic moves and their variations: V, Heeltoe, Shuffle, X-Hop. I don't really practice tbh.

does your dominant/nondominant foot affect you at all?

like are there certain things you can do going one way but not the other?

    I'm learning c-walk from 3 months ^^

I was dancing without shoes. in my house, but from 2 weeks i am doing it outside.

It's better to dance shoes on.
