Sure you can. It will be a little bit lighter that the MP tip, but it also won't hurt if it pokes you while doing tricks tongue.gif

But then you can't stab people with it

i think the pointy part has a better look than the ball point one but i think i'm just weird like that. also u can literally make a hole in the body so i think u should go with ballpoint if u want to be safe.. mellow.gif

Well... i think the pen version is actually better because it doesnt stab you and make yourself bleed to death. but i guess the pencil version is better in another way as in when you want to protect yourself and only weapon you have is your KT.

lighter what do you mean?........if it's lighter than an MP then the momentum of the kt w/ a dr.grip tip (pen) will have a big difference than a original kt!! 'em i right??!!

Hey, you can carry a pen weapon anytime.
Just bring a Pilot G3 pen where ever you go.
That thing sure can stab peoples.

It should work well enough to hold the tip on. The grips from the pen Dr. Grip are thinner than the MP Dr. Grip, so it may be a little bit harder to get it to stay on there. happy.gif

ok i finally found the thread
sorry for the revive guys, but something occured to me when i opened my dr grip pens the other day

the american dr. grip pens use the same grip as the japanese MPs!!
as in, not the crappy thin ugly grip on the american dr grip MPs
did people know this? i would have really liked to have known, and i think it's very valuable information for people who are stuck with american pens and wanna make an ST or something

    EDIT: btw change the title?

but the american dr grip mp is thinner grip than the american pen dr grip? (srry if i sound confusing)

American Dr. Grips do not use the same grip as Japanese ones. PERIOD. They have a different texture and thickness. Also, the tips are different.

yes but they still have a different feel.

  21. Shadowserpant
    Date: Sat, Jul 12 2008 00:15:57

yes they have a slightly different texture, but they're the same thickness, the point is they're ten times better than the mp grips and i think thats pretty useful
i would sacrifice the weight from the pencil tips for the superior pen grip any day

gold tips can be made by spray painting/electroplating XD

maybe sanding too, but it's harder to do....

The gold Dr. Grip tips are from these Dr. Grips, here's a picture of TEK's:

    Spoiler:

I'm not sure if PenWish actually uses the tips from these pencils, or if they spray paint it... but I'm pretty sure the tips are from these Dr. Grips.

I don't know the different between Dr. Grip Antibacterial and the normal one, but I have heard people say that the grip has some 'stuff' put onto it. However, when I read PenWish reviews, I read that the pen has a nozzle that dispenses germ killing liquids. I request that somebody tell me the clear difference. Thanks

when I read the review, I thought the nozzle part was a joke biglaugh.gif

The grip is the same shape/size as the Japanese Dr. Grip Shaker, only difference is that it's cloudy, like the Dr. Grip Neon.

The Antibacterial Dr. Grip Shaker has a cloudy, translucent grip, while the Japanese Dr. Grip Shaker has a clear, transparent grip.

Thanks love ya. Just kidding. Even I thought that the nozzle thing was a joke too. I was like WTFBBQ. If there was a nozzle why wouldn't PenWish mention it. Yay now I will have a cool Dr. Grip Shaker from PenWish. Once again, Thanks! biggrin.gif

I'm trying to make a ballsign mod, but it needs a dr. Grip grip and it's expensive....
    any substitution for dr Grip?
    Reccomendations please...

You can use any grip you want really. Maybe another piece of supegrip since you only need a real small piece of dr.grip.
