    Hi !
    That's the tut. of my own mod
    I made this pen thanks to the HGG²

    What you need :
    - 2 HGG (2 Grips, 1 Barrel, 1 ink)
    - 2 G2 ( 2 Grips, "tips")
    - 2 Tips (Facultatif)
    - Saw
    - Tape
    - Patafix / Blue Tack

    1) Cut 4.3cm of the G2's tip [x2].


    2) Cut the HGG's. Left side = Right side (I use that to cut right)


    3) Cut 4.5cm of the G2's ink tube. Put some patafix in.


    4) Roll some tape in the front of the HGG's ink tube, enough to fix the G2 with the HGG.


    5) Put the HGG's grip on the G2's "tips", and the G2's grips on the HGG's. [x2]


    6) Put 3) and put 4) on the HGG.


    7) Put 5).


    Et voila !

    You can put tip. ( Mine are from Uniball Signo )


    + :

    - Many colours
    - COP = COG

    - :

    - Too short ?
    - Too light ?

    Size :

    - No Metallic : 18cm
    - Metallic : 20cm

    Weight :
    - 13g

    Mine doesn't write, I use the ink tube for the balance. If you want to write with, it depend of how you put the tape.

    i have two questions about this mod:

    How are the G2 grips put on the ends of the mod to make them look that way?

    How strong are the points where you connect the G2 tip piece to the hgg body?

    The attaches are solid.
    About the grip, it's the part of the G2's grip without ring. Then, you put a ring on.

    I made your mod and i have to say, it is really nice! good weight, good length and sleek look. I deviated from your original tutorial because it seemed wierd. and the way i made it was probably alot harder than it should have been haha, but i did get it made. i wish it could write tho... oh well, i still love it! (i posted this in show off your pens but im sure that its ok to be in this thread too)

    its like that blue tacky stuff that you can use to hang up posters. its to add weight. the way i made mine did not include the use of using any patafix soooo....

    i think all you have to do is take off the g2 tip that was covered with a hgg grip or something cause in the instruction they put in a hgg inktube so... could be terribly wrong as usual mellow.gif

    I don't know, I haven't test .
