Well today I’ll be showing my latest mod called the ballsign mix mp. I call it the name ballsign mx mp cause it uses a ballsign body but looks like a mix. I guess this mod can also be a pen but the mechanical part is what makes this mod special. Also this is I think all north American brand except for the hgg grip which can be easily be replaced by a G2 grip, profile grip, or whatever you can find. also there are some instructions without photos cause i think it's a limit of 10 photos which if you're a total failure at modding you can have some trouble..
So let’s begin this tutorial.
Materials
1 Pentel RSVP
1 Sakura Ballsign (you can also use gellyrolls which is the same thing)
1 uniball signo
1 bic round stick (you can also use the bic stick grip if u like)
1 pentel hybrid gel grip
1 Zebra M-301
The Stuff You Will Need
Rsvp grip, cap, and back cap
Ballsign body
Hgg grip
Bic body
Signo tip and ink tube
M 301 lead tube and cap
REPLACEMENTS (this is the place where you can substitute the materials you cannot find)
The uniball signo tip can be replaced with the pentel hgg tip or any tip that can fit on the M-301 tip
Pentel hgg grip can be replaced with the papermate profile, pilot g2, maybe the uniball signo, or any grip that can fit over
PROS
•Weight is mot too heavy
•It’s a mechanical pencil
•Can change length by where you cut
•Comes to about 8 dollar which is I guess cheap
CONS
•uses 6 pens which is fairly a lot…
•some people might think that when using the signo tip the lead is way too long making very hard to control while writing and easy to break( you can fix this by using the hgg tip but I prefer signo cause it’s much heavier)
•might think there is not enough momentum
After saying all these bad stuff maybe some people will not make this mod but yea…
Step 1
Take the rsvp and cut it to 2.5 cm. Shove the grip in until there is about 2 cm of space
Step 2
Take your rsvp back cap and cut about .5 cm of the back cap
Step 3
Cut about a cm of the bic round stick body
Step 4
Now take the ballsign and cut 1.8 cm off starting from the back (you can sand it down if you would like to)
Step 5
Take your M 301 lead tube and cut about 2 cm
Step 6
Take your signo ink tube and cut about 4.6 cm (you can add a white piece of paper so that the whole tubing looks white)
Step 7
Connect it all together with tape
Step 8
Now take your bic body and M 301 tip and connect it together with tape: also wrap some Teflon tape on the M301 tip
Step 9
Put on the hgg grip or your substitute grip FIRST. This will make it much easier to slide on. After you do that put on the signo tip
Step 10
Attach the back cap of the rsvp
Step 11
Now push in the M 301 back cap into the rsvp cap
Step 12
Attach it together and you’re done the ballsign MX MP
Length 20.5 cm remember you are easily able to change the length of this mod of where you cut
Weight about same as MX^2

I never get the back clicker to work and it to be stable so I never tried anymore lol -

uhh yeah if u read the tut u can get gelly roll which is the same thing and u're american so u can get it from michaels or any art store and hgg is only for the grip and easily subbed with g2 or profile... -

ehh like 7 dollars maybe but these were kinda leftover pieces... so signo tip well i use the grips for bictories so i have a spare and the ballsign is from leftover ballsign mods, and yeah... so not too pricy -

Nice mod. I made one with same colors. Should that M-301 back cap (metal thing putted in RSVP grip) be visible? Or should it be all the way in RSVP cap and grip? I have a little problem that lead breaks easily when writing but I think I can fix it by filing/sanding a bit from front of M-301 plastic tip

hey mod looks great but I think I might have the wrong ink tube... Is the ink tube the same or around the same width as the ballsign barrel? Mine is so slim it can go through...
