I have found that my digital camera's videos are much higher quality, mainly because they are transferred to my computer through the memory card. My camcorder loses 90% of its quality when transferring to my computer through the cable.
I've decided to use my digital camera, but it runs out of power after 5-10 combos and then I have to recharge batteries for 3 hours. sleep.gif
If anyone here uses digital cameras, do yours run out of power so quickly?

I used to be able to use my digital camera for a long time, but now mine is like yours. It runs out of power after 5-10 combos. I think it's because I've used my batteries so much, they can't hold the charge as long. So I'm guessing the solution is to buy new batteries.

Digital cameras are not meant for recording. Even with brand new batteries, a digital camera can only film for a few minutes before running out of power. If you want to film without losing quality, use a digital camcorder and Firewire to transfer videos to your computer.

why would you be recording for long? are you a world champion that can spin for 10 mins? or a noob who keeps trying his combo for 10 mins?

You should do your combo 10~40 seconds tops.

On my fully recharged camera I can record ~30 minutes of video before the battery dies. When recording inside, I leave it plugged it, then I can record for as long as I want happy.gif

hm now it seems to last 20 minutes, which should be sufficient. I'm just going to use my camcorder. I don't lose that much fps and there's no flicker (see short combo collab).
