Okay so here's the deal
I was reading a topic on gold dr. grip tips a really long time ago and someone said you can just spray your dr. grip tips gold....and so i decided to take some dr grip tips and spray them the color of my choice...and after i did it...after a dropping it a couple of times it started to chip
and now it has chipped a good amount....and i'm wondering if their is a good way to totally remove the spray paint...and no i can't scratch it off...it wont work like that...cuz i spray painted it gold then metallic finish on the gold coat since teh gold was chipping..
halp? -

*sigh* you cant just paint over metallics, you need a black gloss primer, then you can paint, that way it wont chip nearly as easy, and yet will retain the metallic surface

How can the paint change the shape of the tip? Unless you didnt coat it with a uniform coat of paint... -

Some paint thinners are acetone, some are other things like varsol. Acetone is also found in nail polish remover. (the stuff girls use on their nails)

I pay attention in automotive class and I am usually good at remember stuff like that. Actually I am not sure if varsol is a chemical or a brand name. You could also use mineral spirits to remove paint. -
