Would you rather be...
-

I was thinking...
I really suck at modding. But then I started thinking even more, and I wanted to be better at modding. But then I said to myself
Would I rather be better at modding or better at spinning?
I think I would rather be a better spinner. -

I fixed your poll so that it is no longer epic fail.
-
Date: Thu, Apr 24 2008 01:27:11

Niether.
-

So you would rather be average at both?
Or just bad at both? -
Date: Thu, Apr 24 2008 01:49:09
if i even suck at modding and can spin like a legend i can then spin even with a normal unmodded bic

You don't need a "perfect" mod to be able to spin, so I'd rather be a good spinner with a mod that's comfortable. Buy pre-made mods from places like Penwish or trade for well-made mods, then become a great spinner. Problem solved.

spinner of course!!! ;]
if you are good you can spin with everything ;] -

Why choose when you could be both?
I think a good pen spinner should be well-rounded and know how to mod, spin, create, present/entertain, understand, and be able to teach as well (phew...hope I didn't forget anything)
Actually, I think ONLY knowing either how to mod or how to spin will end up limiting your potential. Modding gives you a better understanding of pens, which is important for spinning. Spinning gives you a better understanding on how the pen will be used which is also important for modding.
Therefore, although the two could live separately, combining both is even better

What a question. Spinner without any doubt, as long as you have decent modding-skills and understanding of pens it's cool. It really takes a lot to be an awesome spinner though. Modding doesn't take quite as much "practice".

Better spinning because its better than a modder
-
Date: Thu, Apr 24 2008 14:17:49
i definately would choose spinner. if a spinner can't mod a pen, he can always buy one. but if a modder can't spin, he can't spin.
i wonder who are the 2 people who chose modding. K4S, Tek? -

Whats the point of modding if you cant spin, so spinning goes to me because you dont need a mod to spin with.
-
Date: Thu, Apr 24 2008 15:41:08
some people see modding as a art.
-

im a better modder then spinner, but id rather it be the other way around.
U cant really impress any one with your leet modding skills in public lol. -

-

I think modding couold help you more generally because it's a lot about creativity, how to put things together, new ways to put things together, etc.

lol, it's okay.
What I've noticed from a thread I just read is that if I actually were a better modder....I'd probably be a better spinner. Because whenever I make a new mod, then it motivates me to spin more. Now I wish I were a better modder -
Date: Thu, Feb 12 2009 13:15:53
I prefer to be a better spinner. because mods doesn't really matter....if you can master spinning, i'm sure you can spin an un-modded pen
-
Date: Thu, Feb 12 2009 18:00:05
Spinner didn't have to think about it.
-
Date: Thu, Feb 12 2009 21:49:30
Spinner, because modding costs a lot of money, which I don't have
Plus, you don't need to be a good modder to obtain a good pen -
Date: Thu, Feb 12 2009 21:49:32
spinner, you can just buy mods and... i desperately need to get better at spinning xD
-
Date: Thu, Feb 12 2009 21:53:07
You can't buy skill.
-

Spin>modding
modding kills my wallet -

Spinning > Modding
Why mod when you cant spin the pen you mod...? You can also buy the mods like me plus modding really rapids your wallet but you can also make a fourtune doing it. Thats why I collect pens used for modding . -
Date: Fri, Feb 13 2009 05:55:54
being a pro spinner needs more time than being a pro modder xD
and as said before a good spinner can spin unmodded pens -
Date: Fri, Feb 13 2009 16:39:05
I'd rather be a spinner than a modder.

Yeah QFT.
Modding is taxing on my wallet. -

Modder. spinning is non sense. You wont get money from it
But if you are good in pen modding, you get to sell your mods and become rich.
I want to better in pen modding so that I wont have a hard time spinning. -
Date: Sun, Feb 22 2009 20:56:13
I think I would rprefer to be a better spinner !!
if you are a good spinner you donß´t have to mod like a god ..
just spin a normal modded pen and be happy

i think im a good spinner, even though i could mod some
-
Date: Mon, Feb 23 2009 14:27:50
I think ima better modder
-
Date: Tue, Feb 24 2009 04:15:50
Currently im a better spinner but lol I suck anyway XD
anyway i'd be a better modder and create some robotic pen that spins for you >D  -
Date: Fri, Feb 27 2009 11:31:12
If you can make lots of useful, beautiful pen mod, but you can't spin it, whats the use of it? Unless you sell them to make$.
-
Date: Tue, Mar 3 2009 04:12:08
In order to be Modder, at least you should be able to know about PS's tricks and the basics, well nto always, but people that you see modding spin the pen OK.
-
Date: Thu, Mar 5 2009 05:07:17
I would rather be a spinner, but that is just me
-
Date: Sat, Mar 7 2009 06:18:36
Both, cause if you didn't pen spin, you would not need a mod, if you didn't make a mod, your pen spin will be not as good.
-
Date: Sat, Mar 7 2009 06:52:52
Better Modder. If the mod is good, you will be remembered for ever. It is not necessary that people will remember you if you are a good spinner.
-
Date: Sat, Mar 7 2009 06:59:50
I voted for spinner, but i think what PSarcher said has a point too.
im sure if ryo never made the dr.kt, most of us wouldnt remember him. -
Date: Sat, Mar 28 2009 16:12:43
Be Both Is The Best,Like Eso. And I Never Modded A Pen Yet, Only On Pencil.
-
Date: Sat, Mar 28 2009 16:21:41
I'd say Spinner. Cos Penspinning is cooler than Modding IMHO
