Philosophy / why did you start?

I was wondering what makes people to take up Pen spinning as a hobby.
So did they start because of a video, a friend, or just do it out of boredom?
For me a saw one of my friends doing a sonic clip, and I thought it looked cool. So I took it up as a hobby. -

I had seen that "Penspinning Stunts!!!!" video, the first thing that pops up on youtube when you search Penspinning, and then like, a year after I saw that, I randomly thought of it and was like, "Hey, that'd be cool to learn", so I did.

It started as 'meh' thing, when my friend showed me how to do the sonic.
I started because it was something i enjoyed doing, and it kinda helps me think -

I saw a collab and was impressed, so I wanted to learn, after I learnt a few tricks, I found it fun, so I started spinning.
