idk if you have noticed...but to me some tricks just look not so good but when i look it at the mirror it looks awesome!

like twisted sonic...when i look at the trick in my hand it looks normal...but when i do it in front of the mirror it looks like it has alot of revolutions and it looks much cooler!

    what do you think?

does penspinning look cooler to ppl that watch than to us?

depends on the angle they see it from

Obviously it will appear more impressive to people viewing pen-spinning than us, we have a trained eye and we know what is good and what isn't. To most people when they see pen spinning tricks they think it looks all the same unless you do a trick with a lot of revolutions like bak 2.5 or something to that affect, they can't really tell the difference between all the tricks you do.

Its all about the angles, look at videos.
Some combos look better from different angles.

I think Twisted Sonic looks worse in a mirror but yes, the angle has a ton to do with how cool it looks. TF Charge Reverse > FL TA can look really stupid or really sweet from the angle you use.

A sonic from a side view looks pretty cool compared to a sonic viewed from the top.
because u cant see that the pen doesnt actually spin through the fingers, just one rotation on the same side.
its all about the angles mainly.

Pen_MAKer, when u look in the mirror it might look better cause ur not used to seeing the trick like that.
    twisted sonic looks cool anyway.

i think my spinning pretty sad from myperspective but i tried spinning in the mirror, even when i sought of failed it still looked cool.

    in conclusion: i dont know

IF anything, it would look interesting because they are not used to seeing you spin. It looks better to you because of the new angle that you are viewing from. You get used to seeing the pen from the same angle: looking down at your hand. When that angle changes, it can look like a different spinner is performing the tricks. This exciting has nothing to do with what others are seeing, it has to do with what you are seeing and how different it is than your normal view.

Viewing myself in a mirror is nifty because I don't normally seeing my own spinning from the front, almost straight on view. On the other hand, seeing someone else spinning from the same angle sucks. If you've seen a video of someone at that angle, you don't get to see much of what is actually being performed. The angle is only interesting to me when watching my own spinning because it's a different way of seeing my spinning.

So, I would say that audience perception of the straight-on view only goes as far as the inexperienced viewing. The more you get into PS, the more you want to see what is actually being performed and the less interesting a straight-on view is, as this angle is not so useful. Does that mean that the straight on view is more interesting to ignorant audiences? I'd guess no. It would just interesting in general (if at all) to an audience. I'd assume that a 3/4 downward shot would be more interesting to everyone, since you get a better view of what's being done.

3/4 down? what does that mean?
it is, the top right corner if u spin with a right hand?

Definetely. When you show people penspinng don't show them it facing them because it looks lame from that angle. = D

yo wait a minute now, my spin is fucking ugly when looked from a mirror. Then, if the camera looks at me from the side and higher than me, miracle, it is a cool style.
