Tutorials Pending Approval / Sigmate 2020

    Well here it is, the Sigmate 2020
    My first pretty decent mod =D

    Stats:
    Weight: 14g (approx)
    Length: 18cm~ (Depending on how it is made)

    Advantages:
    Good momentum (The weight is in the caps)
    COG=COP
    Colour choices
    Has grips for infinities

    Disadvantages:
    Thin body (thought I found this beneficial)
    No inserts
    Tape is essential
    Cannot Write

    Parts Needed:
    2x Signo Gel Pens (with the heavy tip, hexagonal body with the bulge towards the end of the pen)
    1x Papermate Stick 2020
    Grips of your choice, Profile (anyball) Stargels, G2 etc.

    Tuto:

    Step 1. Gather your materials =D




    Step 2. Remove the caps from all 3 pens, remove the tips from the Signo Gel pens and remove the ink tube from the Papermate Stick 2020




    Step 3. Remove the back plug from the Papermate Stick 2020 and cut from the nib end to about 12cm




    Step 4. Screw one of the Signo tips onto the cut end of the Papermate Stick 2020 (it should hold well enough)




    Step 5. Wrap cellotape around both ends of the Papermate Stick 2020, covering the tip as well. De-clip the Signo caps and put one onto the end of the pen with the tip on it.




    Step 6. Place the remaining Signo tip into the remaining signo cap and stick both onto the other end of the Papermate Stick 2020 (Cut away cellotape that protrudes from the cap)




    [Note: The pen I used to make the Tuto is different to the pen I used to take the initial photo, there was no random colour change]

    It spins a treat =]

    um...looks pretty good eventhough IMO the color scheme is lame
    how's it's weight compared to an MX?

    Well you cant let signos go to waste just because you want the tips
    Use the caps too =D
    also
    RSVP caps fit over Signo caps
    and i'm pretty sure ComSsa caps would too...
