    Yes, ladies and gentlemen, several spinners have come to the agreements for the terms of the NYC Gathering!

    When: Saturday, July 20th @ 12:00pm
    Where: Manhattan Mall with a small trip to Kinokuniya!

    Review: You will find much more than books at New York City's largest Japanese bookstore, located near Rockefeller Center. In addition to the shop's main items, such as Japanese books, magazines, comics, music and English books on Japan, there is also a good selection of imported pens and mechanical pencils, origami paper, stationery sets and coil-bound notebooks. Kinokuniya is geared toward Japanese residents and tourists, but they do cater to non-Japanese shoppers as well.

    TL;DR: Basically, if you like Japanese pens, stationary, manga, food, toys, and other stuff, YOU'RE GOING TO LOVE THIS PLACE.


    Timeline:
    • Firstly, PLEASE SHOW UP ON TIME!
    • 12:00pm - We meet at the main doors of Manhattan Mall
    • 12:30pm - We take a short trip to Kinokuniya to buy pens, etc.
    • ~1:15pm - We head back to Manhattan Mall
    • ~1:30pm - Grab some chow in the food court
    • We chill there until we split


    To all those attending:
    • Feel free to bring pens to trade/sell. However, be aware, YOU are responsible for YOUR property!
    • PLEASE bring enough money for yourself and budget it wisely. No one is going to pay for your sorry ass.
    • Transportation is YOUR resposibility.
    • Feel free to take photographs/video. I plan on editing my videos for a Meeting Vid. wink.gif
    • Please, don't stray from the group. At least let us know if you're going somewhere else.

    I plan on bringing nametags so people can put their UPSB tags on it. However, feel free to introduce yourself using your real name.
    And yes, if you're in a neighboring state, and you really want to come, feel free.

    you should make a sign, like "UPSB LAND HOOOO0o0o0o0o0o0o0" youll look like a loser, but otherwise im gunna feel weird asking everybody i see infront of the mall if theyre from upsb.

    i cant go but you are all wasting your time if you actually go to the manhattan mall first go to kinokunya and then go back. there is no point of going to one location if after 30 minutes you'll be heading to kinokunya anyway.... you can meet just as well at kinokunya without wasting time at the mall before your actually going to hang there...just get off 42nd bryant park. really easy to find theres a big staples right next to it. cant believe no one mentioned this. take a B D F or V, B and V don't run on weekends according to the site.

    I'm basically positive that I'll be there on the 12th. I cant come during the weeks since I'm taking Inorganic Chemistry and a class on Python (programming language) at a local university and researching with a chem professor on biodiesel during the week...

    Captain Crunch may or may not be coming, because I'm not sure if he's working that saturday.


    I'll be taking the train in from Jersey straight into PENN happy.gif

    P.S. - I have a metric ton (almost) of mods and need to get rid of a bunch tongue.gif. So if you're looking for a mod in particular PM me and I'll see if I have / can make it.

    P.P.S. - I'll be checking how many people are coming about a week before because I might be making a special gift for everyone attending (depending if I have the cash for it) :haha:

    pds comssas, comssa metallics, MXs, Simple KT Bictories, GJHs (if i get my trade from ellusion67 soon..), perhaps one of my ayatori mods

    I'll also be able to make HG3R and retractable Comssas V2 (where you click the HGG tip to get the ink to show on the other end) when I get some trades in..


    P.S. - I'm thinking of making custom t-shirts for people if they want them. I'll probably sell them just about at cost of the materials at the gathering. The words will all be stenciled and spray painted on. Somthing like UPSB on the front, and the spinner's name on the back.

    I'll make one with my name on it and post pics when I get around to making it to see if anyone whats one happy.gif

    at the moment I can only give a description(RSVP MX):
    -long black grip with greenish grip(its not anyball/profile) over it
    -insert looks like it was drawn on white paper, black coloring
    -the tip isn't HGG, its bigger and the shape is different
