At first, it was found that red, blue, and black RSVPs became available at stores called Loft in Japan in the middle of November 2007. However, according to aysh, PSAJ has nothing to do with that. And then, in March 2008, Pentel has announced the release of more kinds of RSVPs at its website, which PSAJ is involoved in.

Over a few years, some Japanese spinners sent some e-mails to Pentel trying to have Pentel decide to sell RSVPs in Japan. Yet Pentel never seemed to be interested in selling RSVPs in Japan, until the announcement at its website.
