UPSB v3
Regular Pen Discussion / RSVP substitute for Aussies
-
Date: Sun, Sep 16 2007 01:03:09
Hey every1
I think i might've found a pen to replace the RSVP since u cant get them here. Its a Superb-G(Or Hyperb G, one of them). It spins just like a normal R.S.V.P but you can wrap tape around the end (just infront of the black thingy). Wrapping the tape around it makes the pen longer and the cap stays on. -

Hyperb
Franchville
I don't think it would be. The grip is much longer then a normal rsvp and I think the cap is shorter and backcap is longer. I've never actually seen an rsvp before though, so I wouldn't know. There was also the Franchville pen, which looked exactly like an RSVP. i'll try to find the pic.
Edit:got pic -

Franchville's are nearlly identical to original RSVP's just, sparkly .

i don't think it's a good replacement for RSVP..
ive had this pen for a while..its not that good..
length: 19.5
weight: don't know wat to compare with..
the grip is way to long to be replaced by one hgg so i used 2 small left over of anyball grips to cover it up..

The yellow back cap and grip of the Franchville match the yellow comssa cap perfectly for anyone who wants to make a MSXA with the yellow comssa cap

WhiteFang: From what I know Franchvilles are only available in Australia.
Guys I'm going down to the shops this Saturday, I'll look out for some Franchvilles. If I see any I'll buy loads to send some people . (for a little trade). -

@WhiteFang... I don't have any, I saw them on UCPSB and they looked a lot like rsvp's so i posted them here. They are Australian and can be bought at Art shops I think. Not 100% on that tho.

just yesterday, my brother bought a pentel Hyperb V from HK and i think it looks more like rsvp. it has a shorter cap than the Hyperb G but a longer back part than the rsvp. It doesn't have a grip, instead it a bumpy plastic bit and it comes with a metal tip.

I just want to say that if anyone hasn't noticed by now, these are the saviors of yellow RSVPs since the downfall of Sunbursts. We need to convince Francheville that these glitter gel pens are wanted!
-
Date: Fri, Apr 18 2008 17:26:14
yeah the yellow looks pretty nice, and they look exactly like rsvp's except that the body is glittery which is kinda gay, but the grip might do, some one get hold of these so i can trade!
-
Date: Sat, Apr 19 2008 05:22:02
What happened to the Sunbursts Eso?
I don't live near art shops so I can't get any, does anyone in Australia live near an art shop or are going to go to some soon?
