as we know, mod stands for modify, so if we say: i modded a pen today. does it means i modifIED a pen today? a grammar problem.
and sometimes we say: my favourite pen mod is an ayatori. does it means my favourite pen modify is an ayatori? or mod stands for modification too? oh, its just to messy...
my post is messy too. -

And yes, english slang is interesting and complicated. According to dictionary.com both "modded" and "modified" mean the same thing but the literal meaning of "mod" is entirely different than how pen spinners use it to represent "modification".
