when I buid a combo, I often have problems on how to change direction.

I determinated some of these hand position and spin direction. Heres is a list.

-plam down normal.: plam directed down in the rotation way of a charge normal. With sonics, shadows, plus bak revs.

-palm down rev.: palm down, charge rev. Includes all sonics rev., backarounds, neobacks, than shadow rev.

-palm side normal.: with sonics, fingerarounds rev.

-palm side rev.: with sonic revs., and fingerarounds normal.

-infinity: hand half-closed, pen hagning down.

    -infinity rev.: same thing, reverse

-sidespin: hand half-closed, palm side, pen spinning on the thumb. Includes taps, thumbspins, maybe thumbaround, and the second part of a the weissen bak 1.5

    -sidespin rev.: same thing rev.

-spiderspin normal and rev.: spiderspins. Or hellspin, according to leon.

a little hypotetic but it doesn't enter any category: thumbflap charge.

And I'd like to make a list of tricks to change direction.

Maybe some simple ones I know, what I imagine is to update that post when I get new ideas.

Palm side to palm side rev.: noesonic 12-t1 to korean sonic, noesonic 12-t1 to neosonic rev. t1-12,

Palm down to palm side.: Thumbaround harmonic, counter thunbaround,

palm down rev. to palm down.: neobak to backtap.

palm side to palm down down rev.: neosonic 12-t1 to thumbflap charge to fl. TA rev.

infinity rev. to palm down rev.: fingerless TA rev., Thumbflap charge to fl. TA rev.

Yeah, many others, but I'm too lazy now to put everyone I know.

    hand position:
palm side, palm down, palm up, palm diagonal down, palm diagonal up

    directions:
    normal, reverse

...mix and match as you see fit.

Excuse, man, what is the utility, the difference between palm diagonal and palm down? Seriously I don't see why we should add palm diagonal...

Anyways, what I see is a kind of database to help people have smooth direction changes.

You can't just build a database of all the smooth directional changes because that would take forever. In fact, there's a theorem I wanted to write a long time ago stating that if you want a smooth change in direction, you needed to add a small Charge-like motion in between two tricks. It's just something I observed and isn't necessarily true. However, I just don't think you need a database of these kinds of things. It's up to the individual spinner's ability and creativity to come up with smooth transitions. That's how Bonito did it with his Twisted Sonic Rev 12-23 > Pass 23-12 > NeoSonic 12-TF > TF Charge Rev.

Okay... My intention was to help spinners to build combo... And I still want to do so.

I need to find an idea... Maybe a thread like "combo building help", though for now I should think to what I'l write in this thread...

Time to cry about roughness of the world: (yeah, I need to do this): whaahahaha, snif snif, why you moderators do never help me... I want to change, make usefull things...

Okay, I continue to think about how to make the great penspinning worl nicer...

Sorry but maybe they aren't helping you on this because this is something which is not very useful at all IMO.

I've been wondering about this too. Recently I've been slowly trying to come up with combos that I can use to change the position of my hand (palm/wrist). I've not been that active with it, but I think I will look more into it some day.
If you don't know what I mean, take this combo for example:

    tw sonic rev 12-23 > pass 23-12 > shadow still 12

If you start from the palm side position, and end the tw sonic rev 12-23 palm down, this combo has a somewhat nice transition in my opinion.

Come to think of it, I might say that if one starts from the palm side position, a charge normal can be turned into a rev charge when one turns his wrist down.
Also with fingerpasses it's easy to do palm turns.

Is there a list for these kinds of things?

all you need to do is fully understand palm turning and the effect it has
try it first with the charge-
Palm Down charge > palm up charge rev
palm down charge rev > palm up charge
palm up charge > palm up charge rev
palm up charge rev > palm down charge

Yeah, you're right. Has someone made these things into a list?
