Vote, summer is a good time for forum games smile.gif

    Rumble (Free for all)

    Rules: http://kevan.org/rumble.cgi?genre=hero&mode=rules
    Past games: http://z15.invisionfree.com/UCPSB/index.php?showtopic=8370 | http://z15.invisionfree.com/UCPSB/index.php?showtopic=8628
Number of players: 4-6, need to be active daily.
Comments: Pretty cool game, very flexible and simple. The only problem is that they may last a while and ppl sometimes play too defensively or gang up on one person.

    Haggle

    Rules: http://z15.invisionfree.com/UCPSB/index.php?showtopic=8565
    Past games: http://z15.invisionfree.com/UCPSB/index.php?showtopic=8565
Number of players: 6-10, need to be active daily.
Comments: Fun game, usually there are no "dead moments", people always talk. Problem is that you need to be active to be good, because the people who trade the most are advantageous. Might need a way to limit trades to make it fair.

    Thumbtacks

    Rules:

    - There is a scoring board of a certain height, specified in the round. Each player submits a single PM with the height of where they want to place their tack on the board. Once everybody has sent their pm, the results are revealed. Each person scores the distance between his/her own tack and the next lowest tack. If you're the lowest tack, you score the distance between your tack and the bottom of the board. If multiple persons place their tack at the same height, both their tacks "fall off" the board and they score 0.

i.e.: Board is of length 0-100. Bob places at 50, Carl 38, John at 75, Mary at 75, Suzie at 100. Carl scores 38 points (38-0), Bob scores 12 (50-38), John and Mary score 0, Suzie scores 50 (100-50).

Board length may change every round. At the end of each even-numbered round, the person with the less cumulative score is eliminated. On odd-numbered rounds, there might be special events/rules. Winner is the last person standing.

    Number of players: 6-10
Comments: Nice game which is part luck, part bluff, part teamwork.

    Liar's Dice

    Rules: http://h1.ripway.com/Zombo/Files/LiarsDice.pdf
    Past games: http://www.upsb.info/forum/index.php?showtopic=3604 | http://www.upsb.info/forum/index.php?showtopic=3809
Number of players: 4-6, active daily.
Comments: Cool game, seem to work well. Both games so far have been successful.

    Apples to Apples

    Rules:

    - Each player is distributed 7 red apples and 3 green apple card.
    - Each player send by PM a green apple card to me.
    - I reveal all green apple cards, and who submitted it.
    - Each player must now submit by PM a red apple card for each green apple card. The red apple card must be a card they think correspond well to the green apple card.
    - All red apple cards are revealed, but not who played it.
    - Publicly, each player must look at all the red apples submitted to his/her green apple. That person must select which red apple is the best answer to his/her green apple.
    - Once everybody has judged their green apple, I reveal who played which red apples that got selected. You get +1 for each red apple selected.
    - New cards are given to players to replenish their hand.
    - Game continues until a player scores 4 points. If there is a tie, we go to 5, then 6, etc.

Number of players: 4-7, active daily.
Comments: Usually a party game, could be interesting.
