Nice tut there. I do the same thing, using an emptied rsvp inktube (no ink or resevoir tip) so i can use teeth without worrying about getting a mouthful of the delicious ink.

u dont use it to get the grip in the cap? -
Date: Sun, Jun 22 2008 16:54:40
i just use tweezers to get grips into caps. I've never used oil..
-
Date: Sun, Jun 22 2008 17:14:28
yea, cuz in my opinion, if you use oil, sure it will help the grip get in there, but then the oil is still in there and its messy

This method is so old... I thought everybody knows that you should use Tweezers, forks, etc to get grip on a barrel... ._."
Well...apparantly I'm wrong
It's way easier with Tweezers btw. -

Meh too much hassle for me. Alchohol FTW! Alchohol evaporates nice and quick.
-
Date: Sat, Jun 28 2008 04:25:56
i use the exact same method but with tweezers
it works getting the grips off, too -
Date: Sat, Jun 28 2008 05:17:22
it seems a bit unorthodox and complicated... but do what you want

Nice tutorial Guitrum (with the exception of the music being a little distracting ), I'll have to give this a try sometime.
I've always just used the alcohol method. It works even faster, but has the downside of getting stuck too quickly if you're not fast to adjust the grip where you want, lol. This seems like you have a lot more control
